It seems like things may be finally turning in the economy, and not before time. It may be time for you to want to sell your house, a friend of mine did just that recently, we had spoken about it one weekend, and at that time she was still pondering on whether to go ahead with it.
She needed a quick house sale in Wirral, and was unsure how to go about it; she looked on the internet for information, and decided that before she went ahead, she better carry out some much needed upkeep to the house to make it sellable.
She set about the house brightening up the rooms with light colours, and laying wooden flooring to replace the old carpets, which had become worn and dated. It made a vast improvement to the house and brought a real contemporary feel to the place.
We had discussed fitting a new kitchen, but decided this would be a large expense and may cut too much into the profits, so she looked for a cheaper alternative, she found some replacement kitchen doors on offer from the local hardware store, and once they were fitted the look of the kitchen was greatly improved.
She re-grouted the tiles and painted the kitchen ceiling also, once she was happy with the interior, she tidied up the leaves and cut the grass in the garden to make it look nicely manicured.
The results where fabulous, after she had completed the home improvements she called me over for a coffee, I could not believe the difference, for not much cost, and a really quick turnaround.
It made such a difference to the look and feel of the place, and all for the better.
The one thing she didn’t want to do was deal with estate agents and solicitors, so she decided to look for a specialist buyer, who would take care of all the hassle and help her with the process.
She spoke to a number of people and was advised to use a local company. Wirral Property Solutions are on hand to help sell your house fast close to where my friend lives. So that’s who she went with.
The sale went through really quick, and in no time at all she had the profits of the sale to enjoy spending, the first thing she did was pay off some outstanding debts, and then booked herself a nice long holiday in the sun.
She told me after she had sold, that she still thought of the place fondly, after all she had lived there for more than ten years, however she knew it was time to move on, and using a specialist buyer had really helped the process.
She has downsized and moved into a nice place now, she invested some of her money, and she really had a great holiday, but most of all she paid off all her outstanding debts and is financially free from those credit card bills that used to drop through the door on a monthly basis.
And you can’t put a price on piece of mind.
